New Free Version of the Language Builder from Stages App

This free version offers full use of 2 of the 6 activities available on the Language Builder Basic version and Language Builder Pro version of the App. The Language Builder Free version gives parents, therapists and teachers a chance to try out the Language Builder App using the Identical Matching and Similar Matching activities.

Identical Matching: The Identical Matching activity teaches students to match identical pictures of familiar objects. This is generally one of the first drills taught in an ABA or DTT program; and this is where we suggest starting with a child who is new to the Language Builder App. Even students whose academic skills are more advanced, may benefit from learning to work on the iPad on a simpler activity where they have a high opportunity for success.

Similar Matching: The Similar Matching activity teaches students to match pictures which portray the same word, but with a different image. This drill helps students to generalize from the therapeutic setting to a more realistic environment. Students will see that apples can be red or yellow, whole or cut, but are still apples! Because each of the 15 Basic Stage Words come with 6 similar images, there are plenty of chances for practice.
